Aerial Replacement

I've recently bought a 1999 Clio (mark II) and can't get a thing on the radio because there's no aerial.

The aerial was situated just above the windscreen in the centre of the car unlike newer Clios.

I can't work out how it's attached though. There's no hole for me to screw an aerial into and the part that remains on the roof is a black square with a curly bit of plastic protruding from it.

I haven't got my Haynes manual yet but I'd like to get this fixed. Can anyone advise?
