Replacement part for leaking brake hose

I'm confused, please help. My Megane 1999 1.4 has developed a leaking rear brake hose. As far as I can work out, the hose seems to slip over the metal brake piping without any clips. That is where it is leaking. When I went online to order a new hose it looked different in the picture. The picture seems to show M10 threads on both ends. (See Pagid Brake Hose, which I found at eurocarparts, part number 135745248). What is wrong? Is the far end in the part picture actually unthreaded? Has my car been modified/butchered? Or has the way the brake hoses are fitted been changed for safety reasons? Any advice what I should do, especially if it has been modified...
