How will that get past the checks. As far as I am aware the test involves switching the ignition on - noting which dash lights are illuminated and then watch if the lights go out when the engine is started. If the respective light don't illuminate then I suspect that will also mean a fail. Plus taking the bulb out or removing the relevant LED may throw the ECU , etc into showing more faults.
