Angry Re: Which models should Renault retain?

Well after today they should scrap all the scenic range I called at the Renault dealer in my town today to question the disasterous consumption figures on my scenic 111 1.5dci I am getting 41mpg and not the advertised 57.6mpg
However I was informed by the service department when he came out to check the computer display that it was fine and just like all the other customers showing 41mpg in fact mine was doing well as others are only managing 39mpg and he stated to me that the advertised fugures are not to be taken seriusly and the true consumption is 39 to 41 mpg
As I have spent the last couple of weeks at about 56mph with the cruise on I think he is telling the truth and am disgusted at the blatent lies in the manufacturers statements that it does 57.6
He informed me that it is not up to the 50+ mpg of my last renault because it is the latest engine and a re designed car
I have made a big big mistake buying this heap of sh*t and intend spreading this news by every means available to me
Currently in mtman's garage:
Citroen xsara picasso vtx 1.6hdi and a Renault scenic 1.5 dci to thirsty to use
mtman is offline
