Aye I've read something along those lines before as well, I don't know where I read it but I'm pretty sure it said something like once ABS started to be fitted to cars there was no longer any need for brake compensator's to be fitted as the ABS would deal with it.

mord may have been mistaken when he said that the rear load sensor that is for the headlight leveling also had something to do with the brake balance, I don't know, but when someone states something on a forum where we are all trying to gain as much knowledge as we can as to the workings of the cars its nice to explain how you know it works that way when someone asks about it.

Hover over the "TOOLS" tab at the top of the page
> then in the dropdown click on "User Dashboard"
> click on "Edit Your Details" at the top Left hand side.
