Re: CLOCKSPRING (aka "rotational connector!") *FIXED*

Brilliant post - got me thinking about a different issue though....

If the non-autolight unit still works in a car with autolights (with the stalk replaced) then I'm just wondering if my autolight problem is due to my car at some point having the wrong clockspring fitted???

I need to check the part number I suppose (I spoke to someone at Renault whilst buying a bonnet cable and they said it was possibly a faulty stalk but would need to diagnose it)...

Anyone have the part number for the autolight / non-autolight units? I'm assuming there's a third unit as well which uses the last 2 wires on the ribbon for the cruise control too....
