Use a mastic gun to run a thin bead of the sealant, and yes, the trims will press-fit into place. I would believe the grilles will have slots, and the bumpers will have grooves or tangs which the slots slip into. Hopefully enough are present to hold them in place whilst the adhesive sets (usually takes around 24 hours to fully cure).
Don't use much (as it is messy), any excess can be removed with a cloth & some thinners.
