Re: What's the differences between the Renault Laguna dynamique and the dynamique Tec
if your unsure on what the spec could be, pop the covers off the various dashboard panels where the switches are. have a really good look around behind there for cables/connectors tied back or connector like bulges in the loom where cables and connectors have been hidden for additional optional fittings that were not ordered for the final build of the car.
some models have higher spec wiring looms with just the switches and sensors not fitted. (very common with renaults, as most cars were built to order)
if you are lucky and have all the extra switch connectors simply hidden away, pull them out and get hold of the matching switches.
the throttle pedal will need changing as well as the higher spec steering wheel/airbag and the collar behind it where the spool feed for the airbags/wiring + steering slew (esp)control connect to the loom.
check the clutch pedal for what switches are fitted and if they have the matching rubber pads on the top of the pedal that touches the switch (if this is missing then you wont get clutch pressed/released activation on the switch) which will cause CC to never activate.
there are 2 switches, one grey(at the front) and a blue one at the very top, they should both have rubber contact pads.
once all the extra bits are changed over/fitted and the car re-powered up it should autodetect the changes and work by default, if not you might need to check with a clip on if the settings are fully activated.
