Angry Track rod end came off whilst driving

my friend recently had a track rod end fitted from a reputable Tyre company who do tracking to.

the mechanic who did id was a young lad who was nvq 3 qualified.
she paid 50 pounds (inc track rod end change)

she left and was glad she had it fixed.

now for the good part.... we were driving on the M1 and she took the junction to drop me off, as she was driving the car just went berserk, it spun and she managed to control steering as best as she could. we got out of the car only to find the driver side wheel not connected , she looked behind and the track rod end had unbolted off .

she rang the company and told the manager of the site she went to and showed him the pictures and the track rod end. the nvq 3 guy had left but whilst he had done the job on her car he had tightened the bolt with an air gun but had cross threaded the bolt and track rod end , but didn't think of telling her that this happened and put wheel and let her leave.

the manager was very angry at this and agreed to replace it with a new track rod end and was apologetic.

well now since this all happened she has had the dashboard lighting up so much where now she wont drive the car.ABS, CHECK BRAKE SYSTEM ,STOP LIGHT, CHECK GEARBOX ALL THESE ERRORS HAVE NOW CAME UP. she has had the car for 3yrs and no problems .

the car is an automatic triptronic megane mk2
it will now not go into R so she cannot reverse, abs light and brake error comes on.

she has spoke and this time blew a casket as her car is her livelihood. she is now told to bring it in tom to have a look at .

can anyone plse advise what these errors are , and any advice on this matter greatly appreciated.

she is also going to now officially make a complaint to the offices of fair trading as she has known the site manager and trusted him but now with all this faults she is not happy.
we were told that could we are lucky as if this had happened on the M1 then it could have been very fatal, she had her 8month old baby and 7yr in car .

thank you
