That happened to my cousin - started off with 2, and ended-up with nearly 70, before a combination of a disease (think it was called 'snuffles'?), and my Uncle leaving them out in a forest - got rid.

Tell her the Scenic won't eat any lettuce, or need cages cleaned out - if that fails, just stick a couple of large floppy ears on the car, and shove it in...
