Best method for removing bird droppings is to apply a sheet of kitchen roll over the affected area (which has to be in the shade), add cold water, allow to soak for 15 mins, then gather up the corners of the roll, and the droppings will be removed as well.

Works well on motorcycle visors for 'debugging' after a ride.
