i would deffo be using a clay bar
petrol and white spirit
Agree with you there Mikey.
I prefer to avoid spirits
We had so much industrial fallout on our White Megane. When attempting to dry the car after a wash with a micro-fibre cloth the surface just felt really rough.
Since weather was good today, me and the misses decided to wash, clay-bar and wax with collenite 376s. Every single bit of spot and industrial fallout rust came off. When buffing the car with a micro-fibre, the body felt as smooth as glass. We waxed with Collenite 376S and now have a brilliant shine and paintwork actually looks much better than a showroom paintwork.
It took us about 5hrs in total to complete the task. Got a bit dark eventually so couldn't take pics.
But I must say the clay-bar is awesome. I used the 3M brand clay-bar.
