Renault Clio Servicing
I've got a 2010 Clio S, it is on finance with Evans Halshaw and I've got the warning saying service due soon... 18k it must be since I'm on 17900
Can I service the car myself? I've tried for the past week to get into contact with them but their always busy or the guy I need to talk to is out - they mentioned when I got the car it included 3 years free servicing however after the first year a postcard came through the door with the registration in big letters, my name and address and a date and time for an appointment had been made.. I travelled through but I was told no my car did not need serviced nor did I have any "free servicing" and to come back when the car told me.
I want to get the car serviced now or it will invalidate the warranty or such but I don't really have the money for it at the moment, I treat the car well and there aren't any problems at all with it so what really does a service involve?
I heard the most common service involves an air filter and a
change at the most with cars at a low mileage - according to a parts manager @ Arnold Clark
So do you think I'll be able to get it serviced myself? Or does Renault require me to get it serviced at a cost of £155 according to their website - depending on vehicle model, condition and mileage.
