Re: Bleeding brakes properly
Fluid flows easily through the ABS system - only it's pressure is modulated when necessary.
The ABS control unit doesn't always like fluid forced backwards so when retracting a caliper piston it is recommended to open its bleed screw.
There is no need to have the ignition on during bleeding.
