thanks, I have read that somewhere, so are you saying when you change the pads you should open the bleed screw to retract the caliper piston bore? instead of opening up the resroviour lid and letting fluid flow upwards..?

then in this case of replacing pads, you would also need to partially bleed the system.i.e. the calipers where you replaced the pads?
