The profit margins on commercial vehicles is so tight, I can understand why that is.
If half the cars bought new, as for fleets/leasing, that percentage increases to around 80-90% for vans.
Such buying power reduces profit potential, which in turn affects how viable a segment may be to invest in.
A side benefit is the reduction in the price of spares - I have a Ducato, which shares parts with the Boxer & Relay - so if any parts (especially secondhand) are needed, I have a wealth of choice.
So its not all bad.
This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
