Re: Laguna Rear Drum Brakes

Hi people

Hope all is well.

After seeing the cylinders, like you say they look a mess, I put an order in for a couple of new, providing they have the right size in stock all I have to do is pick them up and get them in asap. New shoes and fixing kit will be bought too.

This morning had a run out in the car and everything seemed ok'ish. I took your advice and filed the edges of the shoes a little plus adjusted the handbrake cable and at present the noise is nowhere like as before. Fingers crossed noise will remain as it is. I guess using the car a fair bit over the coming week/s will tell.

Just one fight left with removing the rusty nuts and bolts for the cylinders and brake pipes.

For now I think that is it, once again thank you for your help guys.
