Wow... Renault dealers really are the masters of bullsh*t 'Yeah, it's meant to leak' (Megane CC) or 'Yeah, the injectors always pack up after a couple of years in these' (Trafic) or 'They all make that noise' or 'Sure, it's going to stall if you rev it at idle - they all do that' (?!) (1.2 TCE).

Don't take any of it from them. The car clearly wasn't designed to leak - why bother with a roof otherwise. Given that light showers in the car are not part of the spec, and you bought it less than 3 months ago from a dealer, I'd recommend trading standards if they refuse to fix it properly, and permanently.
