Absolutely hideous, and technologically backward.

I regard all battery-power only vehicles with great suspicion. They are bad for the environment (perversely), due to the mining to obtain the rare metals for the batteries, perform poorly in cold weather, and are a nightmare when the batteries need replacing (landfill?).

Never mind the extra load on the national grid which gets most of the electricity from burning fossil fuels - so where's the benefit?

Another issue is pedestrians stepping out in front of the car because they didn't hear it.

If you hadn't guessed - I'm no fan.
