Kangoo 4x4 rear calipers??

On the kangoo 4x4, the rear calipers have turn in pistons don't they? just n the middle of changing discs and pads but the RH piston only seems to be coming out more the more i twist it either way is it a clockwise turn normally to get them in or anti clockwise LH thread? And also could it be that this could be the reason the brakes at the rear stick on sometimes?

The slides have good movement in them with no graunchyness and it feels smooth when i move them by hand so i don't think its the slides that are making the brakes stick, could it be the pads not being greased when the brakes where done last causing them to stick in caliper and not move with the slide well??

any views, pointers, advice welcome and appreciated,
