If you are in England, then the answer is enough to get you to the nearest petrol station! 'nuf said!?

In reality it will almost certainly vary between, even, similar cars of the same model because the calibration of fuel tanks is not particularly good at the low end. If you really wanted to know, for your car, you'd have to keep a jerry can of fuel with you, then drive it 'til it ran out. Not to be recommended, as you'd likely stir up crud and water out of the tank, which is especially not good for diesels.

I would guess that it will come on when you have around 4 litres left. If I were driving your car, that'd be about 100 miles worth. :? Better to call it 50 for 'normal' driving....
