Re: Should i buy an 03 - 06 Laguna dci

The sensors contain a battery.

When wheels (or any metallic item) gets powdercoated, the powder has a charge (I can't remember whether positive or negative), and the metal item is charged the opposite.

This causes attraction between the powder & the object - making them 'stick' together.

So not only is there an electrical charge passing, but the sensors will get coated with the powder, affecting their operation.

They would also be ruined by the heat involved in the oven, used to fuse the coating.

The sensors are possibly detachable, and can be used again, but I couldn't say for sure.

I do 'wet-painting' so those problems are avoided.

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
