pushed piston into caliper slight bit of fluid came past seal

hi as iv replied to my other threads the other two jobs are now sorted but i changed the discs and pads and when i pushed the piston back into the caliper (couldn't take the brake fluid bottle cap off due to bonnet not opening at time) a bit of fluid leaked past the seal. i know it would normally be knackered leaking, but im wanting to know could the fluid have just pushed past the seal due to no where to go and the seal wont leak again or i take as i thought its knackered

its a laguna mk1

all replys appreciated
