Looking at the pic here:

... there is clearly an insert where there should be a lock in the passenger door

Mad - what do you suggest? I very much doubt the battery is flat but can't rule that out. The key has a wiggly machined groove going down each side - do you want a pic?

What other way is there to get in then other than bending the door frame as suggested?

Taters, thanks I hadn't thought about going for the central locking button. Pretty sure I'd bend the frame if I managed this ... Is the rod method you mention simply a case of pull it and it will unlock?
