Re: uber loud metalic scratching sound at slow speeds?

Well I tried the reversing technique and it didn't work! Weird as in reverse it doesn't make this noise?

I had to go to Hereford today so took the wife's Alhambra but we really wanted to give the Scenic a good old run out

So now I'm pondering! What if I get the hose pipe or the pressure washer and really blast it something? At first I thought the pad had slipped in the caliper as I'm not used to having a caliper that shows the pads through it! Also, what if I leave it? Will the grid/pebble/bolder! wear down eventually?

Is it safe to drive on as the garage is around 10/15 miles away ?
