Re: Laguna locks emergency - HELP!!!

Hi all, well the fact my emergency lock had been disconnected (wtf??) was obviously a problem. Having tried without luck a coat hanger through the levered open door on the central locking button called the AA...

He pointed out the immobiliser light was off - doh! So it was a sudden dead battery. As there was no way into the car he broke the passenger window. Battery test - fubar. AA gold member with breakdown cover - 106 battery only 25

Refitted the window today. 20 from a scrapper. Piece of pish for anyone familiar with the door-de-card procedure you need to follow for the window mechanism refurb. Took the opportunity to grease up the runners while I was there.

It take AGES to get rid of all the glass.

But job done. Now just to source a lock insert and replacement worm screw that holds it in and refit the lock....
