'01 Scenic Weak Handbrake

So the handbrake has been getting weaker and weaker. It takes more effort to get the brakes engaged and sometimes it wont hold the car on a steep incline.

I had a look under the car today and the cables connecting to the calipers are a bit corroded. Also the lever from the cables to the calipers are very stiff especially on one side. Im thinking it probably needs new calipers and maybe a set of disks and pads as they are a bit corroded too.

Would a bit of lube on the levers loosen it up or should i just do the calipers and disks?

Thanks for your help
