Re: Laguna II Rear Passenger Door Lock Removal .. Help!
Because of the tightness of space and the size of the rear runner, i would have recommended removing the main and secondary glass along with both the side runner and the main motor and drive frame.
To get the drive frame out, lower the window, unhook the securing clip holding the glass to it, then raise the glass to the top. undo the 3 nuts on the frame then lift and tilt it back to allow access to the motor securing screws and remove the motor. Then draw the frame out the rear access hole.(the motor and frame are too deep to allow removal in one piece.)
You can then lower the window, then remove the rubber seals and undo the x2 bolts holding the rear runner. Then remove the rubber trim to access the top of the runner and undo the securing screw and remove the runner. The quarter glass in its rubber surround can be slid forward and removed. The main glass can then be lifted up and out of the door.
Now you have full access to the back of the motor and lock mechanism.
(I'll leave it to you to give details on how to remove the lock and handle mechanisms.
