Is it a diesel? They can be a pain in the bottom to jump start especially if the host car is a petrol (battery size/output) - a few weeks back my gf did the same left lights on, its douptful you need a new battery in your keyfob (as light works) and it shouldn't effect the immobilser even if both batteries are flat.
My guess is there just isn't enough juice to get her into life.
Personally I'd just take the car battery out and charge it, if you're uncomfortable with doing things like that then perhaps a friendly hands on person on your street can help? The battery is a 5min job to get out and 1hour ish to charge.
You could buy a new battery for the car, but as you know you left the lights on the current one will probably be fine just too flat.

I hope this helps, best of luck :-)
