Re: Renault ''Twizy''
For you, your commute makes sense to own one of these and that you can recharge it at the office, convenient.
Driving at a 52 uses 20% more power, so hardly useful in the real world.
A Jag at 18mpg so you need a Twizy just to commute? Better to just get a more efficient motor instead of the Jag.
Expect many posts about electrical niggles, which plague every other Renault, let alone one that is entirely electric.
Each of us has a real world! My real world needs will be different to yours and yours will be different to others.
It would have been easy to buy a smaller car, or a smaller jaguar but its sad if motoring is just about practical needs, it should also be about fun, enjoyment and your senses.
Too often motoring writers focus on speed when speed is rarely something desirable for anyone with experience or over 30 and too litle on other factors.
The Twizy is not a car for everyone, not even for most but it is an interesting car that is different to almost anything on the road.
It will never replace the jaguar but 2-3 times a week it is a practical low cost commuting solution that I will totally enjoy driving to the office.
