Re: Renault ''Twizy''

TBH, however altruistic any government can appear to be, they will not sacrifice revenue.

I can remember the Powershift grant which was available to convert cars to LPG (the plug from which was pulled, once it had gained in popularity), and that diesel was once barely subject to any form of tax & duty (now it is taxed more heavily than petrol).

Government policy influences buying decisions (as we all want to save money), then that policy is abandoned.

Currently there is free VED for any car emitting <100g/km of CO2, but due to the popularity of these vehicles, how long before there is a re-classification so that it's free VED for sub 89g/km, and those from 90 - 99g/km have to pay?

This job should never be complete - the day I think I've done it all, is the day I resign.
