Re: 2005 1.9 DCi Laguna (130) Dynamique- multiple questions

The main weaknesses on the 1.9 Dci engine are the EGR valve and the turbo .
Regular oil and filter changes every 9,000 miles seems to be the best means of preserving the turbo . I would also recommend cleaning the EGR valve on a regular basis - at least evry 12 months or so. Also keep a close eye on the turbo plumbing for signs of excess oil - an early sign of turbo seals beginning to fail.

Use a good quality fully synthetic oil and original oil filter.
For oil recommendations and quantities try the Castrol UK and Opieoils websites - both have a search facility.

The Lag II's can also be hard on front suspension springs and anti-roll bar drop links.

Good luck with your car and happy motoring.
