No criticisms of the concept but just on point 3)
Led bulbs as a replacement for regular rare gas filament headlight bulbs give less light to see by.
Sure they will consume less power(unless you have to add a resistor to make them work properly).
+ they will more than likely be illegal for regular headlamp bulb replacement.
I dont know what the standard headlamp bulb fitting is on those but if it was for example H7 55w,you could get a 35w HID kit using H7R HID bulbs(the anti glare kind).
This should give you more light with less power.
Trouble is this might also be illegal or at least fail the MoT even tho the glare wouldnt be worse than normal bulbs.
