Re: Renault Clio - Electronics - Intermittent starting - TDC Sensor ?
I have an '02 Clio Dci which suffers from poor starting when warm. This usually happens when the car has been used (is warm) and then switched off for 10-20 minutes. It takes 5 or 6 attempts to start. If 30 minutes pass, then it's ok. It also starts perfectly well when cold.
Any help please?
That has the characteristics of a crank sensor or a
sensor as it seems to be called for Renaults.
I've had one fail on all three of the Mercedes I've owned and on the Clio.
In all four cases they'd fire OK from cold but wouldn't re-start from hot.
It's a cheap repair.
