greetongs Megane Throttle

I have a Megane 2 litre petrol, Megane sports tourer which I bought new a year ago. This model has the electrinic thottle linkage (fly by Wire!)

When I pull away from stand still the accelration hits a flat spot just as the car starts to pull away. This happens in fist and second gear and is quite severe and makes the car very jumpy.

The garage just say it is a known fault on the electronic throttle and they can't do anything about it!

I am being told the truth?

greetings and welcome to the forums...

if it is a known fault and the car is only one year old i would have thought they were obliged to rectify it.

i would be tempted to contact renault customer services to enquire about this, but firstly wait for some members on here to reply who have a better technichal/legal knowledge than myself...i'm sure they will be able to help.
