Re: Renault - Clio - Replacement key w/central locking button

hi guys, i have a 2000 clio II grande when i bought the car i got 2 keys bu tonly one has ever worked, with the second key it locks and unlocks the car but will not start it, obviously an immobilisor fault does this need reprogramming i went in to timpson and he said maybe when the battery was changed the chip fell out?? well i have looked inside both keeys and nothing that could fall out is inside, and one of the keys works fine ie locks and unlocks and starts the car, is there a home fix for this problem or is it a dealer job i did try the put the key in the ignition on for 10 mins but nothing!! i dont mind having one key but 2 would be good in case of emergency.
i hope someone has an idea :D thanks in advance.
