Thats gone.
Whatever interior corrosion protection was there is all flaked off on the inside and it could rust like crazy in winter even with a "repair" ;(
There are files/guides for sill replacement out there. Where to cut the old ones off n where the new sections weld in.
They even show the pro jacking points using pro jacks n gear for different models.
Thats not much use to you right now.
Carry on with the rest of the service.
Contact a "trade" bodywork guy, maybe Paul(Velsatisfied) isnt too far .

Tell Mom you want an expert to check something your concerned about and get the bodywork guy to replace the sill..(hopefully at trade prices)

Currently in coup's garage:
RM III coupe 1.5dci FVT,Audi TT Mk1 ,a bike and too much rubbish.
