Just so you know I have never registered to any forum before... But this time I did, because I considered the time it took you to simply exhaust the subject on this classic example of planned obsolescence by Renault.
It's also demonstrated how they commit a crime against nature, by making you dispose of a perfectly usable set of instruments, because of a 3 pouds stripe that is made only to break right after warranty expiration.
Sad! Or as a fellow here have so precisely described it, this modus operandi of Renault is "disgraceful"...
Well, I'm just mentioning it, even though that wasn't my case (my mechanic kindly broke mine while fixing my car's steering gear)...
Anyway, I decided to buy the part (SQUIB / WIPER STALKS), try to fix my old one with finding a very skilled welder, and then selling it to cut my losses, since in my country this set sales for mere 420 pounds.
Thank you again, greetings from Brazil!
