My DCi Clio is now up to 80,000, it's just had it's third set of tyres, 2 track rod ends a set of anti roll bar bushes 2
cleans, a battery, set of discs, pads and shoes, one head light, one steering rack boot, one CV joint clip, set of glow plugs, cam belt kit and alternator belt, and a running battle with the seat belt warning light. It.s still cheap to run doing near 70 mgp over the 50,000 or so miles I have had it but my last few cars have done much higher miles with nothing but routine servicing, one a Fiesta did 225,000 miles with just a water pump, and a Rover 400 did 130000 with just normal servicing, another Fiesta needed a throttle cable and 2 batteries in over 100,000, a Rover Metro did over 100,000 with just servicing, the Clio is a good car let down by cheap components, I will rum mine till it becomes uneconomic to keep mending it.
