Re: Brakes binding MOT failure

hi, all the prices sound ok

u could check your self at eurocarparts

if u r happy to jack your car up and get the wheel off, check the disk for pitting and see if they r getting thin, check and see how much you have left on your pads

if they have been binding for along time its very possible u need new ones, if u r are handy at mechanics u could take the callipers off and get some copper grease on them

as for the cv boots, if only one needs doing i wouldnt get both done, unless the other one looks shot aswell, but its defo advisable to get it replaced, as a new drive shaft will be much more expensive

might be worth taking it to a council garage and get them to go over it, as they dont do repairs and dont gain from ripping you off
