Question Trafic seat belt light problem!!

I recently bought a panel van which had a single passenger seat. I needed three seats and managed to pick a double one up faily easily and all fitting were already there. However, I had to retain the wiring loom for the single seat belt tensioner (could not connecting the other seat!) due to the fact that the warning light stays on when I changed the loom for the twin one I got with the seat?? Can anyone shed light on this issue.

I would add I have friend in the reverse position and he fitted the single seat and his light is perminatly on with the single seat loom! We've heard it mentioned that a small module is fited on my van which corrects the air bag unit for two seats. Is this tru and can I remopve and give it to my friend?

Please help someone??
