On the chassis plate, it will state the kerb weight of the car (unloaded), and it's maximum payload (fully loaded).
Also take into account any luggage carried as well.
You will need to increase the tyre pressures to the maximum in the handbook (fuel flap sticker), and also adjust your driving style to suit the 'new' characteristics the car will exhibit.
Basically, look further ahead & anticipate your manouvres.
It'll be interesting to compare fuel economy with what you'd normally achieve.
