Keyfob battery changing

1999 Laguna dti sports.

My keyfob battery appears to be getting low.Reading through a few posts on here i am a bit concerned that it's not just a simple job ie take one battery out and put a new one in.Is it that simple or will I need to re program it as well. Also if I bought a keyfob from Ebay and try to program it is there a chance I could stop my origional keyfob from working by messing the programing up?
