[Help] Door opening problem

Hi guys,

Not sure if this is the right place for this thread, so please move if not, thanks.

Basically, I have owned a 1998 mark 2 clio now for around two years, it never came with a key fob, just a key you put into the door and open with.

Sometimes when I am in a rush or several other reasons, I put my key in the lock and turn it quickly. I didn't notice that sometimes I didn't put the key the whole way in, and it would turn the lock clockwise. This has happened a few times and now I cannot even open my car door on the drivers side. The lock turns but it only turns half of what it should, sometimes I manage to get the door open but its still caught on the latch. Very frustrating.

Is there an easy way of changing this back to normal, or will it cost me a fair wedge?

Thanks, Aaron!
