Front Right Disk circular groove. Causing squeal
Hey guys. Got a bit of a problem I am getting quite a bit of a squeal coming from my right side when braking. It comes on and off and isn't happening all the time. But when it does its worrying.
It all happened last week. I heard my brakes make a light brushing sound and I thought to myself great sounds like the pads are wearing thin so I thought id get myself some new pads. As im pulling up to my supplier some tool cuts in front of me causing me to slam my brakes on (we all get them jumping junctions). I thought nothing of it until I parked in the car park and heard the dreaded grinding noise. You know when metal touches metal.... sigh.
I noticed a slight groove in the right hand side disk and thought it doesn't look too deep so Ill replace the pads and test it out. 3 days later I noticed a squeal.
So basically im just wondering what are the results of driving around with this money is quite tight I'm looking at about 3 weeks till I can get some cash for the disks.
Im driving a 1.2 Renault clio ripcurl model 07 plate.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Currently in dami3n's garage:
