Dont touch a Mondeo Diesel mate. Well thats my opinon, as Im a petrol head through and through though.

Sadly the TDCI engine has its fair share of issues, most notably injector coding issues , dual mass flywheel issues, turbo & egr issues.. the list goes on.

The titanium is a nice spec, almost top of the range and the Mondeo's do handle very well and ride quite well too. Renaults are soooo much more comfier especially on long runs though as the seats are comfier, I also think the interior is nicer too.

Tough to say which is more reliable, but the Renault will be the nicer car I think - I still miss the Lag II that I once had, it got written off - may fault that one though. . I only got the Mondeo as I needed a car quick.

In summary, buy the Laguna.
