Scenic II handbrake / biting point

We had the clutch replaced on our 07 Scenic and the clutch biting point is a far bit lower down. The electronic handbrake isn't releasing as early as I would like i.e. if I'm gentle with the clutch it doesn't tend to release.

The garage that did the clutch don't seem to have any idea.

If anyone can help it would be appreciated ... I'd be interested if anyone can explain how it works and if any adjustment can be made?

Is it back to Renault so they can connect the 'computer' and reset the release point?
