Re: newbie wanting advice on clio st 1.5tdci

Car has 'stamped' full service history every 10k at renault dealership, added parking sensors and spare tyre mounted under the boot. The local peugeot/hyundai dealer is offering a years warranty, full service before collection, new mot and tax, car was a trade in for one of their new peugeots. Only thing I could find wrong was fabric wearing on the outside edge of the drivers seat (due to airbag ridge inside ?) and touched in stone chip. Slight tapping noise during start of acceleration from engine area - not when car stationary and revving and not when 'cruising'. He said it would be looked at during service. Car was reduced recently by 500 to 6499 due to 'new stock and plate change' (?) Does that seem good ? (more than Ive ever spent on a car !!)
