Re: brake pads,discs

When the wheell was off the ground did you check by rotating it if there was any sound .
Was there any juddering under braking.
Did the pads you replaced wear evenly?
I mean was the outer edge worn the same as the inner part?
Have the discs worn much?

Were the discs original renault or "just as good ones"?

Checking if the discs are tue probably isnt a diy job.
Did the pistons look ok and the other parts,no piles of accumulated brake dust?
Clean contact on the back of the old pads?
Aside from what youve done only other diy things I can think of would be a little copaslip grease or similar on the brake moving parts/spring contacts..NONE on pad contact faces or the discs or fluid seals..
Unless this noise is really bad and not the annoying whish whish you get sometimes from brakes.
Let the pads bed in and the auto adjustment settle. If it continues get the discs checked.

Currently in coup's garage:
RM III coupe 1.5dci FVT,Audi TT Mk1 ,a bike and too much rubbish.
