Try disconnecting the plug to the level sensor on the brake master cylinder - just in case the sensor is faulty.

Wear sensors are in the pads themselves and unless there is fault in there wiring and the pads have enough beef then there should be no problem.

Does the car have ABS?

Most hub nuts are 30mm but to be honest I have come across 3 variations so it would be best to check before sourcing a socket and a really long socket breaker bar.
